Getting Started I just joined. Where should I start? Start anywhere that sounds fun. The site can give new members a one-time Start Here welcome and occasional discovery tips so you do not have to learn everything at once.

When a new member joins, the Start Here experience introduces the main areas without forcing a long tutorial.

  • Community: see fresh conversations and create a post.
  • Groups: find smaller communities around shared interests.
  • Forums: join longer discussions that stay easy to find.
  • Event Hub: check missions, streaks, challenges and live events.
  • Games: play and compete in the Hooligan Arcade.
  • Skins: customize your identity with things you unlock.

After that, CommunityHub remembers which major areas you have explored and can occasionally suggest something useful you have not tried yet. These suggestions are frequency-limited and can be dismissed.

Getting Started Why do I sometimes see a “Try Something New” tip? Discovery tips are lightweight suggestions that help enrolled new members find major Community features they have not explored yet.

After the one-time Start Here welcome, the site may occasionally suggest a major area you have not visited yet, such as Groups, Forums, Event Hub, Games or Skins.

The suggestions are intentionally limited so they do not become constant popups. Dismissing one gives you breathing room before another can appear. They are guidance, not requirements.

Getting Started What can the Hooligan Assistant help me with? Hooligan Help is the site’s grounded support assistant. It searches the approved Help Center first so it can explain Community features without inventing site-specific instructions.

Use Hooligan Help when you are trying to find a feature, understand how something works, or remember what to do next.

  • Ask about Community posts, Smart Feed, Groups, Forums, Messages, Games, Event Hub, HChips, Skins, privacy/safety controls and other documented site features.
  • The assistant searches the approved Help Center and shows the related full instructions when available.
  • If it cannot find a reliable answer, it should say so instead of making up Community-specific behavior.
  • Use the 🔊 Listen control when your browser/device supports speech playback and you want the answer read aloud.
  • Better Messages: you can message Hooligan Assistant directly inside Messages using CommunityHub’s built-in grounded Help engine — no paid AI API is required. Site owners may optionally connect an external AI provider later for a more generative conversational layer, while CommunityHub Help remains the source of truth.

Questions are also aggregated without member IDs so the site owner can spot repeated Help gaps or places where the website itself may need clearer navigation.

Getting Started What do I see if I open a member page while logged out? Member-only destinations show a polished guest preview instead of an unfinished empty page.

If you open Event Hub, Games, Loops, My Skins, Saved Posts or Notifications while signed out, the page explains what the feature does without exposing private member data.

  • Use Log In to return to that destination after signing in.
  • Use View Memberships when the public membership page is available.
  • The preview shows feature descriptions only — never private progress, saved items, notifications or member content.

Getting Started Why did JeffMAC Follow me after I joined? New Hooligans can receive one delayed Welcome Follow from JeffMAC so a brand-new account starts with at least one real Community connection.

About ten minutes after an eligible new account joins, the site can give that member a one-time Follow from JeffMAC.

  • It is a real one-way Follow, not a fake Friend relationship.
  • Better Messages does not unlock just because JeffMAC Followed you.
  • If you independently Follow JeffMAC back, mutual Follow becomes Friends under the normal Community relationship rules.
  • Blocks and protected account states always override the Welcome Follow.

Getting Started What can I do in Hooligans Alley? Hooligans Alley is the main social Community feed for posting, reacting, commenting, sharing media and keeping up with other members.

Open Hooligans Alley from the Community navigation. From there you can browse the feed, create a post, react and comment, open media, save posts and use the other Community tools available to your account.

Community Why do the five special reactions change? The bottom row of five reactions across Community posts, comments and Forums automatically follows the current season or active holiday/event.

Open the reaction picker on a Community post, comment, Forum topic or Forum reply. Your normal admin-managed custom reactions stay exactly as configured, and CommunityHub appends the same extra bottom row of five seasonal/event reactions everywhere.

  • During a holiday/event such as Halloween, the holiday row temporarily replaces the normal seasonal row.
  • When the event ends, the row automatically falls back to the current season.
  • The five seasonal slots are owned by the Seasonal/Holiday Director and do not replace or modify your normal custom reactions.

For Halloween the automatic bottom row is 🎃 👻 🦇 💀 🕸️.

Community How do the Hooligans Alley timelines work? Hooligans Alley gives you separate timelines for Latest, Following, Friends, Groups and For You. For You now starts with the newest posts from your strongest relationships, then mixes in discovery and conversations that became active again.

Latest shows every eligible Community post newest first.

  • Latest: everything eligible, newest first.
  • Following: only posts from Hooligans you chose to Follow.
  • Friends: posts from mutual Friends.
  • Groups: posts from Groups you joined.
  • For You: a hybrid timeline. New unseen posts from Friends come first, then other Hooligans you Follow, then joined Groups — newest first inside those relationship lanes. CommunityHub periodically introduces a Suggested Hooligan or Group so you can grow your network. After fresh network posts run low, For You shows a clear You’re caught up notice and rotates recent conversations you already saw instead of pretending they are new. Posts can also return when they earned it through meaningful new comments, reposts/quotes/shares or reaction momentum.

When an older conversation returns, CommunityHub uses new engagement since you last saw it rather than lifetime popularity alone. Discovery spacing can adapt to how much fresh network content you have, so members with a busy Following/Groups network see fewer interruptions.

Your selected timeline is remembered. On desktop, hover or keyboard-focus a timeline button to see what it does. On phones and touch devices, tap the ? beside the timeline buttons for a quick guide to all five choices. Follow adds someone to your dedicated Following timeline, and mutual Follow makes you Friends; Better Messages remains Friends-only.

Community Why do I sometimes see a Suggested Hooligan or Group in Hooligans Alley? Hooligans Alley can occasionally introduce you to a public member post or public Group so you can Follow Hooligans you enjoy and find active conversations.

The site owner can turn these discovery suggestions on or off and choose how many real Community posts appear between them.

  • Suggested Hooligan: when an eligible public post belongs to someone you do not already Follow, Hooligans Alley may mark that post as a suggestion and show Follow or Follow Back.
  • Follow vs Friends: Follow is one-way interest. If you both Follow each other, you become Friends. Better Messages stays Friends-only.
  • Blocking is a hard boundary: blocking removes Follow/Friend connections, Friends-only messaging eligibility and tag eligibility in both directions. Unblocking does not automatically restore them.
  • Suggested Group: Hooligans Alley may insert a polished card for a public Group that is new or recently active. Use Join Group to join it or See Group to look first.
  • Private/hidden Groups stay private: they are never exposed through Community discovery.

Only real Community post cards count toward the configured spacing. Ads and inserted Group cards do not inflate the interval.

Community How do I see what changed while I was away? Hooligans Alley can remember your previous Community visit and give you a focused catch-up view without changing the normal chronological Timeline.

When you return to Hooligans Alley, Community Pulse can show a compact Welcome Back summary. If visible posts were created after your previous visit, choose Since You Were Here to see a small creator-diverse catch-up lane.

  • New since your visit: counts visible Community conversations created after your previous Hooligans Alley visit.
  • Active today: shows how many distinct recent creators are currently contributing.
  • Your people: when available, the return summary can note new conversations tied to Friends, Followed Hooligans or Groups you already belong to.
  • Latest stays Latest: the catch-up lane never replaces or reorders the normal chronological safety path.

Groups remember visits separately. Open a Group Activity page and Group Pulse may show Since Your Visit for conversations created after the last time you visited that Group.

Why it works this way: CommunityHub keeps return guidance separate from the canonical feeds, so catching up is faster without taking control of what you see.

What makes it fun: you can jump directly into what appeared while you were gone, find where people you know are active, or ignore the catch-up lane and keep browsing normally.

Community Where are Community Pulse, Rally and my Streaks? Community Pulse now folds into a drawer above the Timeline so Rally, Streaks, seasonal activity and discovery stay close without permanently pushing posts down.

At the top of the Hooligans Alley timeline, look for the centered Community Pulse tab. Tap/click it to pull down Rally, Streaks, Seasonal/Holiday activity, Welcome Back catch-up and Discover shortcuts without permanently taking up feed space. Inside the drawer, the blue-to-ember Community Rally / Community Streaks progress ribbon keeps the same live progress and controls.

  • The ⚡ blue side shows your current Rally objective progress.
  • The 🔥 ember side shows your active Community Streak momentum.
  • Tap/click anywhere on the ribbon to open the focused progress window; use its Rally and Streaks tabs to switch views. On phones, the progress window takes over the full screen and temporarily moves the site header/navigation out of the way until you close it.
  • Rally objective buttons explain themselves: each objective uses a larger phone-friendly card with a plain-language instruction and current progress. Tap an objective to open its How It Counts explanation directly underneath the objective you tapped.
  • Streak cards lead with the rule: 1/Day means one qualifying action on a separate site day. Current consecutive days, Best and Next milestone are shown separately underneath so the daily requirement is never confused with your streak count.
  • If an event is live, the ribbon may show a compact LIVE indicator without taking over the feed.
  • Use Event Hub from your Avatar menu or the progress-window footer for the complete events/challenges view.

Smart Feed now sits directly below the progress ribbon. Under that, the Discover shortcuts are true lane selectors: Trending, Fresh, Your People and Needs Reply open the exact lane you chose. Tap the active lane again to close it. Your People also carries suggested Group discovery so the separate all-lanes overview is no longer needed.

Profile How does my MEME Vault work? Your MEME Vault is a private collection where you can save, organize, search, favorite and share memes without losing them in your phone gallery.

Open your Profile → MEME Vault to build your collection. The Vault opens as a complete profile page so its collection layout and upload tools are ready immediately on the first visit.

  • Private by default: your full Vault is owner-only. Other members cannot browse it.
  • Add and organize: upload a meme, give it a memorable title, choose or type a category, add searchable tags/keywords, notes and optional source information.
  • Find it later: search titles, notes, categories, tags and source information, or filter to Favorites and your own categories.
  • Share to Hooligans Alley: the Vault can create a normal Community post with the meme already attached.
  • External sharing: choosing an outside-share action creates a public link for that meme only. The rest of your Vault stays private, and you can disable that public share link later. Facebook and X can use supported web sharing; Instagram, Truth Social, PicAxe and other apps use your phone/device share sheet when available.
  • Meme Studio: tap Create Meme to make a meme from an image, pasted screenshot or blank canvas. You can drag text into place, style it, save the finished image directly into the Vault, and Remix an existing Vault meme without destroying the original.
  • Share responsibly: only upload or make public media you are allowed to use, and follow the site rules.

Want faster access? Tap Install MEME Vault App inside your Vault. It adds a dedicated MEME Vault app shortcut so your collection is one tap away without replacing or changing the main JeffMAC LIVE/Community app. When launched from that installed shortcut, MEME Vault uses a focused app shell: the normal site/Profile header and tabs stay out of the way so the Vault header, meme count, search, upload and collection tools are the experience. It still uses your normal secure site login and the same private Vault.

When a meme is shared outside the site, the share text can include Shared from my MEME Vault on JEFFMACLIVE.COM with a link back to the site.

Profile & Identity Where does my profile bio appear? Your Bio / About text is part of your CommunityHub profile identity and stays visible in the main profile header while you move through your own profile sections.

Edit it from Profile → Settings → Edit Profile. Once saved, the same bio is used by the CommunityHub profile card/header and the About section, so it does not disappear just because you switch to Settings, MEME Vault, Trophy Case or another profile tab.

Blog How do I comment on a Blog post? Open an individual Blog article and use the Conversation area below the story to read responses, reply to someone, or leave your own comment.

Individual Blog posts use the CommunityHub Blog conversation layout. Scroll below the article, Author Bio and related-story area to Conversation.

  • Read existing responses in compact threaded cards.
  • Choose Reply to answer a specific comment.
  • Use Leave a reply to add a new response to the article.
  • If moderation is required, your comment can show an awaiting-moderation notice until it is approved.

The Blog conversation is separate from Hooligans Alley comments, but the same CommunityHub profile picture is used for signed-in members where available.

Community How do I create a Community post? Use the POST button in the site navigation to create a post from almost anywhere. Choose Community or one of your Groups in the “Post to” menu, add your content, then publish.

When the site’s Global Composer is enabled for your device, tap or click the navigation POST button from almost anywhere on the site.

  1. Open POST.
  2. Use Post to to choose Community or a Group you belong to.
  3. Add text, photos, video, GIFs, attachments, a poll, or other available options.
  4. Paste a screenshot: on supported desktop browsers, use your screenshot tool (for example Windows Win + Shift + S), click into the composer and press Ctrl + V. The clipboard image is attached just like an uploaded photo. The same paste flow works in Community comments/replies when image attachments are enabled.
  5. Review the destination and choose Post.

If you open POST while viewing a Group you belong to, that Group can be selected automatically. After publishing, the confirmation can include View Post so you can jump directly to what you created.

Depending on the site’s separate desktop and mobile settings, you may also see the familiar inline What’s on your mind? composer on Community or Group pages. Both routes use the same CommunityHub posting system.

Take me there
Community How can I see the exact date and time of a Community post? The timeline keeps the easy relative time such as “4 hours ago,” while the full post page also shows the post’s exact site date and time.

In Hooligans Alley, select the relative post time such as 4 hours ago or 2 weeks ago to open that post on its dedicated page. The full post view keeps the relative time for quick context and also shows the exact date and time the post was published using the site timezone.

Community What happens when I tag a Hooligan in a post? Tagging another member with their @username connects that eligible post to both your profile timeline and the tagged Hooligan’s profile timeline.

Use @username in a Community post, public Group post, comment, reply or quote when you want to tag another Hooligan.

  • Posts can appear on both timelines: an eligible Community post or public Group post remains one canonical post, but it can appear in the Posts timeline of both the author and each tagged member.
  • No duplicate post is created: reactions, comments, edits and moderation all stay attached to the same original post.
  • Blocking is a hard boundary: if either member has blocked the other, CommunityHub will not allow the tag. Blocked members are also removed from each other’s tag suggestions.
  • Blocking later removes the cross-timeline tag association: the original post is not deleted, but it stops appearing on the blocked member’s timeline through that tag.
  • Private/hidden Groups stay protected: tagging cannot expose a private or hidden Group post on a public profile timeline.

Community Can I post more than one photo? Yes. Community posts support multiple images in a single post, with the current composer supporting up to 15 images.

Open the Community composer and use the image/media option to add multiple pictures before publishing. You can remove an image from the draft if you selected the wrong one.

Take me there
Community How do I open and close a Community photo? Tap or click a Community photo to open the full-size media viewer. Close it with X, the dark space around the image, Escape on desktop, or the device/browser Back action on mobile.

The Community photo viewer keeps the image large without taking you away from the post.

  • Open: tap/click a photo.
  • Close: use the X or tap/click the empty dark area around the photo.
  • Mobile Back: when the viewer is open, Back closes the photo viewer first instead of backing you out of Hooligans Alley.
  • Gallery: swipe or use the previous/next controls when a post contains multiple photos.
  • Zoom: desktop has zoom controls/mouse-wheel support; phones and tablets support pinch-to-zoom.
Take me there
Community What do the view counts on posts, photos and videos mean? CommunityHub counts meaningful content views instead of every page refresh.

Post views count after enough of a Community or Group post stays visible for a short moment. Racing past a card does not immediately count.

  • Photo views count when someone intentionally opens a photo in the full media viewer.
  • Video plays count when a Community video actually begins playing. Supported embedded-video starts can also contribute to content analytics.
  • Repeated views from the same viewer are cooled down so rapidly refreshing or replaying cannot inflate the number.
  • These meaningful signals can help CommunityHub understand Trending, Smart Feed, Group discovery and future creator analytics.

The numbers are engagement signals, not a promise that every platform/provider can expose identical watch-detail telemetry.

Take me there
Community How do reactions work? Use the reaction control on Community content to leave a quick reaction. Available reactions may be shown from the reaction picker.

Find the reaction/Like control under the post or comment. On phones, a normal tap toggles Like or your current reaction. Use a brief deliberate hold when you want the full reaction picker, then choose the emoji you want. Selecting a reaction is treated as a reaction action only, even when the picker is floating over a photo or other post media.

Device note: Reaction controls are touch-friendly on mobile and pointer-friendly on desktop.

Community How do I save a post for later? Use the Bookmark/Save action on a Community post to keep it for later.

Open the post actions and choose the Bookmark/Save option. Use the corresponding saved/bookmarked-posts area when you want to return to it.

Community How do I repost something? Use the Repost action on supported Community content to share it back into the Community.

Open the post actions and choose Repost. Follow the on-screen confirmation/options before publishing the repost.

Community Why is a Community post or image blurred? Content can be blurred when it is marked sensitive/18+ or reaches a moderation/report threshold. The blur protects members until they choose to reveal or moderators review it.

If a post or image is intentionally marked sensitive, use the reveal control when you are allowed to view it. Reported content may remain blurred while it is waiting for moderation.

Access: Some sensitive content may require the appropriate account/access state.

Take me there
Safety & Privacy Why do I sometimes see the 21+ confirmation? The 21+ confirmation is a quick age reconfirmation used to protect an adults-only Community experience. It is separate from signing the Terms of Service again.

The site may periodically ask you to confirm that you meet the minimum age before continuing. If your account already accepted the current Terms, this quick check does not create a new Terms signature.

Choose I confirm — I’m 21+ to continue when you meet the minimum age. If you are under the minimum age, use the under-age/log-out option instead.

The site remembers the quick confirmation for the configured browser/session period, so you should not need to reconfirm on every page.

Device note: The exact reconfirmation frequency is controlled by site settings.

Rewards Why did my HChip balance suddenly jump? Older participation can now be recognized by the Achievement Registry, so long-time Hooligans may receive one-time catch-up HChips for milestones they had already completed.

Those HChips are not random freebies. They represent real Achievement thresholds you already reached, and each catch-up reward is one-time only.

  • You keep the HChips that were added to your balance.
  • Retroactive catch-up rewards do not count toward the current week’s Hooligan of the Week competition.
  • Current-week activity still decides the weekly race.
  • Spending HChips changes your spendable balance, not the separate amount you earned this week.
Take me there
Rewards Can I buy Skins with HChips? Yes. Selected ordinary Skins — including complete HChip collections such as Voltage and Retro Arcade — can be permanently unlocked with HChips from My Skins.

CommunityHub deliberately keeps prestige rewards separate from the store.

  • Selected Starter and HChip Collection Skins show a purchase price.
  • Complete collections can include matching Avatar, Profile, Community Post, Comment, Forum Reply and Navigation Bar pieces.
  • Purchasing permanently adds the Skin to your collection and never auto-equips it.
  • Seasonal limited rewards, Honors, Achievement rewards, Hooligan Champion rewards and other earn-only collectibles are not purchasable.

This lets HChips have useful spending value without turning accomplishments into something anyone can simply buy.

Getting Started Where do I watch JeffMAC LIVE? Go to /live/ to watch JeffMAC LIVE when the stream is on. The LIVE navigation link also takes you to the main watch page.

Use the site’s LIVE navigation link or go directly to /live/.

  • This is the main JeffMAC LIVE watch page.

Membership What memberships are available and what do they include? Hooligan Assistant only describes memberships that the site has deliberately published in its public Membership Showcase, so hidden, legacy, testing or staff-only levels stay private.

Ask Hooligan Assistant about memberships, your current public plan, upgrading, or what a published membership includes.

  • The public Membership Showcase is the source of truth for member-facing plan names, descriptions, benefits and links.
  • Only plans the site owner explicitly marks Public may be shown by the Assistant.
  • Hidden, legacy, testing, staff-only or provider-internal levels are never listed merely because the membership provider stores them.
  • If you are signed in, the Assistant can identify your current plan only when that plan is part of the public Showcase; otherwise it will simply say you have an active non-public membership.

Use the public membership page for current checkout/upgrade choices and final billing details.

Membership Why can’t my membership open Hooligans Alley? Your membership controls which Community features are available. Free Hooligan and Chatty Hooligan are entry tiers without shared Hooligans Alley or private Messages; other current and legacy Hooligan variants are mapped by the site owner through the CommunityHub Membership Access matrix.

JEFFMAC LIVE membership levels are mapped to CommunityHub capabilities by the site owner.

  • Free Hooligan and Chatty Hooligan: own Profile/Timeline plus Forums; no shared Hooligans Alley and no Better Messages/private messaging.
  • Other eligible Hooligan variants: monthly, yearly, staff/moderator, legacy and special levels can be granted the same Community and Messages capabilities without changing code.

If your current plan does not include Hooligans Alley, direct post links and Community interactions such as commenting, reacting, reposting or saving another member’s Community post are also restricted. Better Messages additionally requires the Messages capability and the normal Friends/privacy rules.

Take me there
Membership Why did my account receive the Free Hooligan membership? Normal member accounts on JEFFMAC LIVE are expected to have a membership level. If the membership system confidently confirms that a regular signed-in account has no level, the site can repair it with the Free Hooligan membership.

The Free Hooligan level is the site’s safety-net membership for normal member accounts that would otherwise have login access with no membership entitlement.

  • Existing paid or other valid memberships are never replaced by the safety net.
  • The site only repairs the account when the membership provider is available and confidently reports that no active level exists.
  • Administrators and protected account-lifecycle states such as suspension/deactivation/deletion are not silently changed by this repair.
  • If you later join an eligible paid membership, the normal membership provider becomes the source of your current level and benefits.
Messages How do I open Messages? Tap or click the Messages control in the site header/navigation. Better Messages opens as the messaging experience for your account.

Use the Messages button from the site navigation/header. On mobile it opens the native full-screen Better Messages experience. On desktop you can use the Better Messages dock/widget or the full Messages page. Better Messages owns the native conversation-list controls, including the Settings/gear menu, so those controls should open their provider options directly without CommunityHub replacing or intercepting them. If the full page has a rare provider-startup delay, CommunityHub performs one safe page-level retry rather than reinitializing Better Messages inside the live page.

Device note: Mobile opens Better Messages full screen. Desktop also includes the lower-corner messaging dock.

Community What are Seasonal Experiences and Festive Posts? CommunityHub changes with the real seasons and can add limited-time holiday experiences without replacing the normal Community.

Seasonal Experiences add tasteful ambience, Event Hub identity and optional limited-time activities as the calendar changes.

  • Base seasons can follow the site’s Community calendar, astronomical equinoxes/solstices, or custom dates. On JeffMAC LIVE, Winter begins December 1 before the Christmas/Holiday Event layers on later in December.
  • During Autumn you may see falling leaves; holiday overlays such as New Year, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas/Holiday can add their own temporary identity, Festive Posts and activities when enabled.
  • Halloween layers on top of Autumn: leaves keep the Fall atmosphere while animated bat silhouettes, subtle spooky wisps, premium Pumpkin Hunt collectibles and Halloween-specific activities turn the festivities up for October.
  • When a seasonal or holiday identity is active, the Community and Group composer may offer a Festive Post checkbox.
  • The composer also shows a compact five-emoji seasonal/holiday quick strip. Tapping a quick emoji inserts it into the post; on mobile the tap does not force the on-screen keyboard to reopen.
  • Autumn Festive Posts use the Harvest Frame: a full warm amber/rust perimeter, harvest glow, subtle leaf detail and a premium seasonal badge. Halloween Festive Posts escalate that treatment into a Haunted Frame with orange/violet edge energy and subtle haunted corner detail, while keeping the underlying Autumn atmosphere. Reduced Motion preserves both identities while suppressing decorative movement.
  • A Festive Post keeps the season/holiday badge it was published with, so an older Halloween post still reads as that year’s Halloween post later.
  • Festive Posts are optional. Leaving the checkbox off creates a normal post.
  • During the Halloween Haunt, the Event Hub can show seasonal objectives such as making a Halloween Festive Post, joining conversations, contributing in a Group and finding hidden pumpkins around eligible pages.
  • Halloween Forum Haunt: while the Halloween event is active, Forums show a plain-language Halloween Forum Haunt goal such as starting a topic and making a set number of replies. Members never need to calculate a score. Quiet daily anti-spam limits still prevent farming, and the challenge is available to Free Hooligans because Forums are part of their experience.
  • Finding the configured pumpkin milestone can award a one-time HChip bonus before the full challenge is complete.
  • Hidden collectibles only appear where the foreground seasonal layer is allowed. They never appear on pages set to Ambient only or Off, including focus-sensitive destinations such as the main LIVE viewing page when configured that way.
  • Completing the Halloween Haunt can permanently unlock the limited Haunted Halo Avatar Skin. Finding every required pumpkin can also unlock the limited Pumpkin Glow Community Post Skin. Both go into My Skins and are never automatically equipped.
  • Completing supported seasonal events can add a permanent stamp to your Seasonal Journal, so your account keeps a record that you were there. Completed stamps may also appear on your profile as part of your Community history.
  • Reduced Motion automatically suppresses decorative motion.
  • Some focus-sensitive pages, including the main LIVE viewing page, may intentionally suppress decorative seasonal effects so they do not distract from what you are watching.

During Halloween, Community Pulse can also surface a Festive discovery lane, and Group Activity pages can show a compact Halloween Group Quest so seasonal participation connects across the site. Check the Event Hub for the full reward path, seasonal challenges, collectibles, boosts and other limited-time activities as they become available. Halloween 2026 is also the reusable release template for future seasons/holidays, so composer identity, reactions, Forums, Groups, rewards, Seasonal Journal, announcements, Help guidance, Light/Dark, Reduced Motion and cross-device QA are audited together.

Take me there
Community Where can hidden Halloween pumpkins appear? Hidden pumpkins only appear on pages the Halloween Hunt allows and only when the foreground seasonal layer is enabled there.

The Pumpkin Hunt intentionally avoids focus-sensitive pages. A pumpkin may appear on an eligible Community page, Group, profile, Event Hub or other allowed destination depending on the site’s current Halloween settings.

  • Pumpkins do not appear on pages set to Ambient only or Off.
  • The main /live/ watch page stays distraction-free when it is configured as an effects-exempt page.
  • The site owner can use explicit page/path include and exclude rules.
  • Eligible pages use a per-member/page/day spawn chance, so every eligible page does not guarantee a pumpkin every visit.

When you find one, tap it to collect it. Your Halloween Haunt progress updates automatically. When your browser allows site audio, a hidden pumpkin also plays a short discovery sound when it appears and a separate collection sound when you tap it.

Profile Where do I see my Seasonal Journal and seasonal trophies? Open your CommunityHub Profile and choose Trophy Case to see Seasonal Journal stamps, limited seasonal rewards and other supported honors.

Your Trophy Case is the permanent home for special Community history.

  • Completed seasonal events can add permanent Seasonal Journal stamps.
  • Your own Trophy Case may also show events you are still participating in.
  • Limited seasonal rewards such as the Haunted Halo Avatar Skin and Pumpkin Glow Community Post Skin can appear with earned/locked status.
  • Other members only see public/completed seasonal accomplishments.
Community Why do seasonal effects look different on different pages? Seasonal effects use two independent layers so the site can stay festive without distracting you from important content.

CommunityHub can use an Ambient/background layer behind cards and controls, plus a Foreground/festive layer above the page.

  • Full: both layers are active for the complete festive experience.
  • Ambient only: the page still feels seasonal, but ambient effects stay on the background plane behind cards, text and controls; foreground festive effects and interactive collectibles stay off.
  • On compact Community screens, Autumn can use a slightly fuller ambient leaf field while keeping the foreground amount unchanged, so the season feels alive without placing more effects over what you are reading.
  • Foreground only: only the festive layer is active, with no ambient/background layer.
  • Off: focus-sensitive pages can stay completely calm. The main LIVE viewing page is one example.

The site owner can choose the same layer modes for normal WordPress Pages and CommunityHub routes such as Community, Groups, Forums, Games and Loops. Hooligans Alley does not receive a separate Seasonal rendering rule from other destinations.

Profile Where can I see my Achievements and Titles? Open your Profile and choose Trophy Case to see Achievements, Titles Earned, Seasonal Journal memories, Honors and limited rewards in one place.

The Trophy Case is your public accomplishment showcase.

  • Achievements shows completed Community milestones and their HChip rewards.
  • Titles Earned shows every unlocked Title. Tap a Title to see how it was earned.
  • Seasonal & Honors shows Seasonal Journal memories, Honors and limited event rewards inside the same Trophy Case.

You can choose your Current Title, use the newest automatically, or hide your Title from your profile.

Messages How do I message another member? Open the member’s profile and use the Message button, or start a conversation from Better Messages.
  1. Open the member profile you want.
  2. Use the Message button when available.
  3. Write your message in Better Messages and send it.

You can also open Messages first and use Better Messages to start a new conversation.

Messages Can I make voice or video calls? Yes. Better Messages supports voice/video calling and related call controls when the conversation and device support them.

Open the Better Messages conversation, then use the available call controls in its header/interface. Your browser may ask for microphone or camera permission. Screen sharing is also available where supported by the browser/device.

While a Better Messages call is actively open, CommunityHub asks supported browsers to keep the display awake so the phone or computer does not go to sleep during the conversation. The wake request ends when the call closes or the page is no longer active. Device power-saving policies and browsers that do not support Screen Wake Lock can still override this behavior.

Device note: Camera, microphone, screen-sharing and screen-wake capabilities depend on browser/device permissions and power-saving policies.

Groups How do I find or join a Group? Open Groups from the Community navigation, then use Active, Discover, New or Your Groups to quickly find the right community.

The Groups directory now has four discovery views:

  • Active: Groups with the freshest recent activity.
  • Discover: active Groups you have not joined yet.
  • New: recently created Groups that are still building their first wave of members and conversations.
  • Your Groups: Groups you already belong to, ordered by recent activity.

You can search inside the selected view. Group cards may also show Your Group, New Group, Fresh today, Moving this week, a live Challenge, or a friends here signal. Discover cards can also explain why that Group is being suggested using real signals such as friends already there, recent conversations, a live challenge, or a newly created Group. Weekly momentum can show recent conversation, reply and contributor counts so you can tell whether a Group is actually moving before you open it.

  1. Open Groups.
  2. Choose the discovery view that fits what you want.
  3. Browse or search the results.
  4. Open a Group — directory cards land on the Group Activity page so you can see what is happening first.
  5. Use Join/Request when the Group allows it. Group admins can still reach Manage from the Group navigation.

Groups What is Group Pulse? Group Pulse is the compact discovery area at the top of a Group Activity page. It helps you find conversations worth joining without replacing the normal Group feed.

Open a Group and stay on Activity. When the Group has recent activity, Group Pulse appears above the challenge/composer area.

  • Since Your Visit: conversations created after the last time you opened that Group Activity page, when there are any.
  • Hot: recent conversations with replies or reactions plus freshness.
  • Fresh: the newest conversations in that Group.
  • Needs Reply: recent Group posts that are still waiting for their first reply.
  • Active Members: members who have participated recently in that Group.

If friends are among the recently active members, Group Pulse can call that out so you can quickly spot where people you know are participating. Choose a Pulse tab to focus that lane. The normal chronological Group activity feed remains underneath, so Group Pulse is a discovery layer rather than a replacement timeline.

Groups Why did a welcome post appear when someone joined a Group? When enabled, joining a public Group can create a Community welcome activity so everyone can see and welcome the new Group member.

Public Group joins can create a normal welcome card in Hooligans Alley. The card uses the member’s Community identity and links back to the Group, so other Hooligans can react or comment and welcome them.

  • Only public Group joins are eligible for the Community welcome card.
  • Private or hidden Group membership is never exposed by this feature.
  • Rapid leave/rejoin behavior is limited so it cannot flood the Community feed.
  • Large join bursts are rate-limited by the site owner’s Group welcome settings.

Groups How do I create a Group? Use the Create Group control from the Groups area and follow the setup flow for the Group name, details and images.
  1. Open Groups.
  2. Choose Create Group.
  3. Complete the Group information and available privacy/settings choices.
  4. Add the Group avatar/cover when desired.
  5. Finish creation and manage the new Group.

Access: Group creation may depend on account permissions/settings.

Groups How do I post inside a Group? Use the navigation POST button and choose the Group in “Post to.” If you open POST while you are already inside a Group you belong to, CommunityHub can preselect that Group for you.
  1. Tap/click the site navigation POST button.
  2. Check Post to and choose the Group you want.
  3. Add your message and any available media, poll, GIF, attachment or explicit-content option.
  4. Choose Post.

When you open the Global Composer from inside a Group you belong to, that Group can be selected automatically so you do not have to find it again. Only Groups you belong to are available as posting destinations. Group owners can also limit new Group posts to moderators/admins or admins only. When a Group uses that setting, eligible members can still read, comment and react according to the Group’s normal privacy rules even though they cannot create a new Group post.

If the site owner keeps inline Group composers enabled for your device, you can still post directly from the Group Activity page too when your Group role is allowed to create posts.

Groups How do Group Challenges work? Groups can run timed participation challenges that combine your own objectives/reward with an optional shared Group Goal everyone can push together.

Open a Group while its challenge is active. A Group Challenge card appears with your progress, time remaining, participation momentum and reward when one is configured.

Shared Group Goal: some challenges also have one team meter for the whole Group. Successful posts, replies and unique contributors can move that meter for everyone. The shared meter is social progress — your HChip completion bonus still comes from finishing your own personal objectives, so nobody can complete your reward for you. When a Group Rally completion reward is enabled, it is worth at least 35 HChips; admins can set it higher or use 0 for a no-reward challenge.

  • Group posts count only when they are successfully published inside that specific Group.
  • Group comments/replies count only on activity inside that Group.
  • Posts or replies in another Group do not advance the wrong challenge.
  • More than one Group can have a live challenge at the same time.
  • The Group directory may show Challenge Live or the current Group Goal % when a shared goal is configured.
  • Private/hidden Group challenge details stay inside the Group membership boundary and are not exposed in the Event Hub to members who cannot view that Group.

Tap, focus or hover an objective for its exact counting rules. The Community Event Hub can also bring current Group Challenges together in one place.

HChips & Rewards How do Community Streaks work? Community Streaks reward consistency across separate days. Simply logging in does not count — you have to complete meaningful Community activity.

Look for Your Community Streaks in Community Pulse. Each card shows 1/Day as the daily requirement: one successful qualifying action on a separate site day. Your current consecutive-day count, Best and Next milestone are shown separately below it.

  • Community Streak: meaningful Community participation such as publishing or joining a conversation.
  • Group Streak: successful participation inside Groups.
  • Creator Streak: publishing an original Community or Group post.

If you miss a day, the live streak resets the next time you participate. Your best streak and any permanent milestones you already earned remain recorded.

When milestone HChip bonuses are enabled, each streak type/milestone can pay only once. Rebuilding the same milestone later does not farm the reward again.

Take me there
HChips & Rewards What does an HChip Boost event mean? A scheduled HChip Boost temporarily multiplies eligible HChip rewards for the activity types shown on the live Boost card.

When a Boost is upcoming or live, Community Pulse can show the event name, multiplier, eligible activities and time remaining.

  • A 2× Boost doubles the eligible configured reward during the active window.
  • The Boost starts and stops automatically using the site schedule.
  • Only successful qualifying activity can earn a reward; opening pages or pressing buttons does not count.
  • One eligible action still produces one CommunityHub reward result — the Boost does not intentionally create duplicate reward notifications.

The exact activities included in a Boost can change from one event to another, so read the live card before participating.

HChips & Rewards What is the Community Event Hub? The Community Event Hub is one place to see live and upcoming Community Events, Group Challenges, HChip Boosts, your Weekly Mission and your Community Streaks.

Open Event Hub from your Avatar dropdown or go directly to /event-hub/ to see the Community progression systems that currently matter to you.

  • Events & Challenges collects live/upcoming site-wide events, Group Challenges and HChip Boost periods.
  • Mission & Streak Progress shows your current Weekly Mission and streak momentum.
  • The Hub reads the same live progress as Hooligans Alley and Groups — it does not create a second set of goals.
  • If nothing is currently scheduled, the Hub shows a simple empty state until the next event or challenge arrives.

Group Challenges can run in more than one Group at the same time, so the Hub is a quick way to see what is happening across the Community and what you can complete next.

Open Forums to browse discussion areas. Open a Forum to see its Topics, then open a Topic to read and reply to the discussion.

Forums How do I start a Forum Topic? Open the Forum where the discussion belongs, open the Start a Topic composer, add a title and message, then publish. Your new Topic can also appear on your My Profile timeline as a Forum discussion card.
  1. Open Forums and choose the appropriate Forum.
  2. Open Start a Topic.
  3. Add your topic title and discussion text.
  4. Add any available attachments/media/options. On supported desktop browsers you can also take a screenshot (for example Win + Shift + S on Windows), click the Forum message box, and press Ctrl + V to attach it without saving the image first.
  5. Publish the Topic.

A published Forum Topic is also part of your own Community activity history, so its Forum discussion card can appear on My Profile → Timeline.

Forums How do I reply to or follow a Forum Topic? Open a Topic, use the reply composer to join the discussion, and use Watch/Watching when you want return notifications.

Use Join the discussion to write a reply. Forum replies use the same attachment picker as Topics, and on supported desktop browsers you can paste a clipboard screenshot directly into the reply box with Ctrl + V. If the Topic has a Watch control, turn it on when you want the site to keep you informed about new activity.

HChips & Rewards What are HChips? Hooligan Chips (HChips) are the site reward currency. You can earn them through supported activity and use them on eligible games, rewards and other spend sinks.

Your HChip balance is part of the site rewards system. Different Community activities and achievements can award HChips, while Games and other eligible features can use them as entry/spend currency. Exact awards and costs can change as the reward economy is tuned. When the site owner enables celebration rewards, your birthday and yearly Community anniversary can also award HChips once per calendar year; the birthday uses the site’s configured Birthday profile field and does not require making your birth year public.

HChips & Rewards How do I earn HChips by sharing posts? A Share-button click does not earn HChips. Share a tracked Community post link and bring a different qualified visitor to that post.

When verified sharing rewards are enabled, the site gives you a tracked link when you share a Community post. A reward becomes eligible only when a different qualified visitor reaches that post and satisfies the current visit-quality rules. Depending on the site settings, that can include a short visible reading period and an optional scroll/tap/key interaction. Your own account/device does not count, and the same visitor only counts once for the same shared post.

The current HChip amount and whether there is a rolling cap or Unlimited earning are shown in My Profile → Earn HChips. If Unlimited earning is active, every new verified visitor can remain eligible for the configured reward.

Share Surge: My Profile → Earn HChips shows your lifetime verified traffic and progress toward the next sharing milestone. If the administrator enables a milestone bonus, reaching a Share Surge milestone can trigger an extra HChip celebration on top of normal verified-visit earnings.

Share Boost events: the site can temporarily multiply the normal verified-visitor reward. When a Boost is active, Community Pulse and Earn HChips show the live multiplier and current effective reward. Share Surge milestone bonuses remain separate from the temporary multiplier.

New-member referral rewards are separate: a verified shared-post visit can earn the sharing reward, while a successful registration through your referral link can earn the referral reward.

HChips & Rewards How does the Weekly Community Mission work? The Weekly Community Mission gives you a small set of real Community objectives to complete before the site week resets. Each objective explains exactly what counts when you hover, focus or tap it.

Open Hooligans Alley and look for the Weekly Community Mission card in Community Pulse. Your current progress is shown on every enabled objective.

  • Create posts: publish original Community or Group posts.
  • Join conversations: publish real Community comments or replies.
  • Bring verified visitors: share a tracked Community post and bring qualified visitors; pressing Share alone does not count.
  • Explore Groups: join a Group or publish an original Group post. Each unique Group can count once during the week.

Each Rally objective shows a short plain-language instruction plus your current progress. Hover, keyboard-focus or tap an objective for its exact How It Counts rules. On phones, that explanation opens directly underneath the objective you tapped so the rule stays visually attached to the challenge. Successful Community comments/replies and original posts also refresh the visible Rally progress immediately without requiring a page reload. When every enabled objective is complete, the configured weekly HChip bonus is awarded once for that site week. An enabled Community Rally completion reward is never less than 35 HChips; admins can set it higher or use 0 for a progress-only Rally.

HChips & Rewards What are limited-time Community Events? Community Events are scheduled challenges that appear in Hooligans Alley with live objectives, a countdown, Community participation momentum and an optional one-time HChip completion bonus.

When an event is active, open Hooligans Alley and look for the limited-time event card in Community Pulse. The card shows the event name, time remaining, how many members are participating, how many have completed it, and your personal objective progress.

  • Only successful Community actions count.
  • Each objective has a hover/focus/tap explanation showing exactly what qualifies.
  • Upcoming events may be visible before they start, but progress begins only when the event goes live.
  • If a completion bonus is configured, it is awarded once for that event window after all enabled objectives are complete.

Events can include original posts, comments/replies, qualified tracked-share visitors and unique Group participation.

Skins How do Skins work? Skins customize specific parts of your Community experience. Avatar, Profile, Posts, Comments, Forum Replies and Navigation are separate Skin slots.

Open the site’s Skins area from your account/profile controls. Equip the Skin you want in each available slot. Slots are independent: leaving a slot unequipped keeps that surface at the normal default design.

Skins How do I unlock my first Skin? Complete all seven Community Starter Quest activities: Post, Comment, Forum Topic, Forum Reply, Share, Repost and Quote.

The Community Starter Quest is your first Skin challenge. Complete each activity once:

  1. Post: publish an original Community post.
  2. Comment: publish a Community comment or reply.
  3. Forum Topic: start a new Forum Topic.
  4. Forum Reply: reply inside a Forum Topic.
  5. Share: share a tracked Community post link. This completes only after a different qualified visitor reaches that exact link and satisfies the current visit-quality rules; your own account/device and duplicate visits do not count.
  6. Repost: repost a Community post.
  7. Quote: quote a Community post, add your own take, and publish it.

When all seven are complete, the Starter Quest reward unlocks permanently in My Skins. Use the information buttons on the challenge itself whenever you need a reminder of what a step requires.

HChips & Rewards How do I know what Achievement or Title to work toward next? Open My Profile → Trophy Case. Your own Trophy Case shows a Next Unlocks roadmap with the closest Achievement, upcoming Title progress and your Hooligan Honors prestige path.

Open My Profile → Trophy Case. At the top, Your Next Unlocks gives you a simple map of what is closest without making you opt into a quest first. Tap or click the compact Your Next Unlocks panel to open a larger readable view; the Coming Up / Next Title Unlocks panel works the same way. Inside either popup, use − / + to resize the entire popup proportionally—the window, cards, icons, text and spacing all grow or shrink together like resizing a picture from its corner. If a larger view exceeds the screen, scroll around the enlarged popup. The popup remembers that reading-size preference on this device.

  • Next Achievement: shows the nearest unfinished Achievement, your live progress and its HChip reward when one is configured.
  • Next Title: shows an upcoming standard Title and how many completed Achievements remain before it unlocks.
  • Hooligan Honors: shows your permanent Hooligan of the Week Champion progression toward the six-piece prestige set.

The Achievements tab also shows several closest goals, while Titles Earned previews upcoming Titles. Seasonal/event Titles continue following their own event rules instead of pretending they are normal Achievement-count unlocks.

Why it works this way: CommunityHub reads your existing verified activity and existing progression systems. There is no second hidden score and nothing here needs to be activated before your activity can count.

What makes it fun: you can chase the reward or Title that sounds interesting, compare different paths, or just keep participating normally and let progress happen in the background. The roadmap is a guide, not a chore list.

Current Title controls: the highlighted button shows whether you are using a manually selected Title, the newest Title automatically, or hiding the Title. Hover/press feedback confirms the control is interactive, and the saved state remains highlighted after the page refreshes.

Honors What is Hooligan Honors / Hall of Fame? Hooligan Honors celebrates major Community achievements and past/current champions. Repeat wins can progress through prestige Skin rewards, starting with the Champion’s Crown Avatar Skin.

Open the Hall of Fame to see the Community’s highest recurring honors, champion history and related recognition. Honors can unlock prestige rewards without automatically equipping them. The first prestige reward is the Champion’s Crown Avatar Skin, which adds the gold champion medallion treatment around the member’s avatar when equipped.

If you use the site on a smaller screen where the widget rails are hidden, use the dedicated Hooligan of the Week page when it is available to see the current weekly champion and jump to the Hall of Fame.

Take me there
HChips & Rewards Where can I see when I earned Achievements and Titles? Open My Profile → Trophy Case and use Recent Milestones. It combines recent earned Achievements and unlocked Titles into one history view without creating another score.

Open My Profile → Trophy Case and choose Recent Milestones. The compact history shows recent Achievements and Titles from the same authoritative progression records already used by your Trophy Case.

Tap the panel to open its larger readable popup, then use the standard − / + controls up to 200% when you want a closer look. Completed Achievement cards can also show their verified earned date when CommunityHub has one.

Why it works this way: CommunityHub does not create a separate history score. It reads the dates already attached to earned Achievements and unlocked Titles, and it leaves a date blank rather than inventing one when old history cannot be verified.

New Title celebrations: when a genuinely new Achievement unlocks a new Title, CommunityHub can celebrate the Title and add it to your permanent collection. If an Achievement celebration is already on screen, the Title waits until a later page so you do not get stacked popups.

Collection families: earned Achievements are grouped into families such as Community, Groups and Forums, while earned Titles are grouped into their themed families. Each family shows how many pieces you have collected so the Trophy Case reads like a real collection instead of one long wall.

What makes it fun: your Trophy Case becomes a record of the path you took—not just a pile of badges. You can look back at what landed first, see the Titles that followed, complete themed families, and choose whether a fresh Title is the one you want to wear now.

App & Notifications Can I install the site like an app? Yes. When your browser/device offers the install option, you can install the site as a PWA for a more app-like launch experience.

Use the CommunityHub install invitation when it appears, or open Profile → Settings → App & Push after signing in. Installing puts JeffMAC LIVE one tap from your device, so it is quicker to jump back into LIVE and the community and it feels more like opening an app than hunting for a browser tab. Installation is optional, updates arrive automatically, and push-notification choices remain separate so you stay in control.

Device note: The exact install prompt and menu wording depends on browser and operating system.

App & Notifications How do push notifications work? If your device/browser supports it, enable site notifications when prompted so supported Community activity can reach you outside the open page.

Use the site’s notification/app setup controls and allow browser notification permission when you want push alerts. If permission was previously blocked, you may need to change the site permission in your browser/device settings.

Device note: Push availability and permission controls vary by browser/device.

Safety & Privacy Can I make parts of my profile visible to Friends only? Yes. Privacy settings for your profile, posts, media, comments and Friends list can use Friends only when you want confirmed mutual Friends to see that area.

Open My Profile → Settings → Privacy and choose the audience for each supported area.

  • Public: anyone allowed to reach that surface.
  • Logged-in members: signed-in Community members.
  • Friends only: confirmed mutual Friends. A one-way Follow does not unlock Friends-only content.
  • Only me: only your own account (and authorized administrators where required for site operation/moderation).

Blocks remain a hard boundary even when two members were previously Friends. Friends-only post visibility is also respected by Community feed/search access rather than being only a label in Settings.

Safety & Privacy How do I report, hide or block something? Use the three-dot/action menu on supported posts, profiles, comments, Loops or other Community surfaces to access available safety actions.

Open the item’s action/three-dot menu. Choose Report, Hide or Block when that action is available. Reports go into the moderation workflow; hide/block actions affect what you see or who can interact with you according to the feature.

Profile How do I change my profile picture or cover? Open your profile/account editing controls and use the avatar or cover-photo controls to upload the image you want.

Open your profile and its edit/manage controls. Choose the profile picture/avatar or cover image option, select your image, adjust it when the interface offers positioning/cropping, and save the change.

Your current CommunityHub profile picture is the site-authoritative member image and should carry across Hooligans Alley, Better Messages, and LIVE Chat after those surfaces refresh.

Device note: Image selection/cropping controls can differ slightly between mobile and desktop.

Getting Started Can I make an announcement image bigger? Yes. Tap or click an image inside an announcement to open the full-size image viewer.

When an announcement includes an image, tap/click the image to open it full screen so you can read graphics and inspect details more comfortably.

  • On desktop, use the viewer zoom controls or mouse wheel and press Escape to close.
  • On phones/tablets, the viewer uses the full screen and supports pinch-to-zoom and panning.
  • Use the close button or tap/click the dark backdrop to return to the announcement.
App & Notifications Where do I see my notifications? Use the site notification bell to see recent Community notifications and open the related item.

Tap/click the notification bell in the site interface. Choose a notification to open its related Community item. Push notifications are a separate device/browser capability.

App & Notifications Why did I get a Community email? Community email alerts come from CommunityHub for supported social activity such as comments, replies and mentions when email notifications are enabled for your account.

CommunityHub owns email delivery for Community activity created through Hooligans Alley, so you should receive one site email for a qualifying event rather than a duplicate BuddyPress activity email.

  • Open Notification Settings on your profile to control supported email alert categories.
  • The unsubscribe link in a Community notification email turns off CommunityHub notification emails for that account.
  • Better Messages keeps its own message-email behavior separately.
Getting Started Why do some announcements look different? Announcements use clear types — Announcement, Feature Update, Season Update and Holiday Event — so you can tell what kind of Community news just landed.

Community updates use visual types so important news is easier to recognize at a glance.

  • 📣 Announcement: normal Community news and general information.
  • ✨ Feature Update: new or improved site features and what you can now do.
  • 🍂 Season Update: the underlying Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer experience changing.
  • 🎉 Holiday Event: limited-time celebrations such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and December holiday events layered on top of the base season.

The same type carries into your Notifications and What’s New archive with its own label and accent color.

Getting Started How do I search the site? Use the Search button in the site header to open the site search experience.

Tap/click the Search control in the header, enter what you are looking for, and choose from the results that are available to your account.

Getting Started Where can I catch up on new features and announcements? Open What’s New from your Avatar menu to browse the full Community announcement archive.

What’s New is the permanent catch-up page for Community announcements, new features, improvements, season changes and holiday events.

  • Use the search box when you remember part of an update but not its name.
  • Filter by Feature Updates, Season Updates, Holiday Events or normal Announcements.
  • New for you shows updates you have not dismissed/read yet.
  • Select Open Update to replay/read the complete announcement, including its image when one was published.
  • The archive respects announcement audiences, so you only see updates your account was eligible to receive.

Seasonal recommendations can rotate as each holiday window ends, while already-published updates remain here permanently so you can catch up later.

Getting Started What are the Community widgets in the side rails? CommunityHub side rails can show useful live Community cards such as active Hooligans, Friends, Groups, recent activity, birthdays, blog posts and Community updates.

CommunityHub owns the social cards shown in its widget rails so they can match the rest of the Community instead of relying on old BuddyPress widget layouts.

  • Members / Featured Hooligans / Recently Active: discover people with the same current profile picture, Skin treatment, activity context and Friend controls used elsewhere on the site.
  • Friends / Who’s Online: quickly see people you are connected with and who is around now, subject to member privacy and block rules.
  • Groups: see active, new, popular or joined Groups and use Join when an eligible public Group is suggested.
  • Latest Community Activity: a compact snapshot of public conversations. Private/hidden Group activity is not exposed.
  • Birthdays: the site can use the exact BuddyPress birthday field selected by the admin, including custom field names. Field visibility is still respected.
  • Forums: CommunityHub-native Forum Search, Forums, Discussions, Replies, Stats and Views can replace the old bbPress widget presentation while bbPress remains the provider.
  • HChips: CommunityHub-native Balance and Leaderboard widgets show the same points economy without exposing myCRED branding to members.
  • Community Updates / Latest Posts: keep announcements and new site articles within reach.

On smaller screens these same widgets can live inside the swipe-in mobile rails, so they stay available without taking space away from the main timeline.

Take me there
Getting Started How do I see the side widgets on my phone? On pages that have widget rails, swipe inward from the left or right edge — or tap the small edge handle — to open that side’s widgets without leaving the page.

Some CommunityHub pages have useful widget content on the left and/or right side on larger screens. On a phone or tablet, those same assigned rails become swipe-in panels so the main timeline can keep the full screen.

  • Left rail: swipe right from the left edge. If the site owner keeps the optional edge indicator visible, you can tap it too.
  • Right rail: swipe left from the right edge. If the optional indicator is visible, you can tap it too.
  • The panel follows your swipe as it opens, then becomes a top-layer scrollable drawer so page content cannot cover it.
  • Scroll normally inside the open panel to browse its widgets.
  • Swipe the panel back toward its edge, tap the close button, tap the dimmed page, or press Escape to return to the page.
  • A short animated gesture reminder may appear once per browser session on pages where side content is available.

The panels only appear when that page actually has a left or right widget rail assigned. Desktop widget rails keep their normal layout.

Privacy & Membership Why do I sometimes see Sponsored or Community Highlight cards? Sponsored cards are paid advertising placements clearly labeled by the site. Community Highlight cards are house promotions for site features or events. Some membership levels may be configured as ad-free.

The site can show clearly labeled promotional cards when the site owner enables the Ads & Marketing system. Community Feed, Community Rail, Groups Directory, public Group Activity, Forums Directory, Forum Topic List, and Event Hub placements are separately controlled by the site owner and remain off until explicitly enabled. Rail ads use the same Community / Standard Pages widget rails that members already see on desktop and in the mobile swipe-in rail drawers. Group Activity sponsorship is limited to public Groups in this phase; private and hidden Group activity is excluded from sponsor delivery. Forum sponsorship can appear in the All Forums directory or between Topic rows only after the viewer has access to that Forum; sponsor analytics do not include Forum or Topic titles/IDs. Event Hub sponsorship can appear as one clearly labeled card beneath the Hub summary before progression content when the site owner enables that placement.

  • Sponsored means the placement is tied to a paid advertiser or sponsor campaign.
  • Community Highlight means the site is promoting one of its own features, events or announcements rather than a paid advertiser.
  • The site counts a qualified ad impression only after enough of the card is actually visible for a short period. Clicking a sponsored link can also be measured so the site can give advertisers honest first-party campaign reports.
  • The system does not need to store your raw IP address in its ad-event ledger.
  • If your membership is configured as ad-free, eligible CommunityHub ad placements are suppressed for your signed-in account.

Advertising does not change what you can post, who you can message, your HChips, or your normal Community permissions.

Getting Started How do I send feedback or a complaint? Use Hooligan Help or the Feedback page. Both routes go into the same Community feedback system, and Hooligan Help never submits a private conversation without your approval.

You can send an idea, complaint, bug report, confusing experience, praise or safety concern.

  • Talk to Hooligan Help: when the assistant recognizes clear feedback, it can prepare a short preview. Nothing is submitted until you explicitly reply SEND FEEDBACK. Reply CANCEL to discard it.
  • Privacy: the assistant submits only the feedback preview you approved plus minimal thread/message IDs for traceability. It does not forward the rest of your private Help conversation.
  • Feedback form: use your Profile → Feedback page when you want to type a structured report, attach a screenshot or add extra details.
  • My Feedback: the Feedback page shows your recent submissions and their current status, such as Submitted, Under Review, Planned or Shipped / Fixed.

Profile & Identity How do I add memes quickly to my MEME Vault? Open MEME Vault from your Profile, then drag image files directly onto the Vault or choose several images at once. Only the images are required.

You can drop or select up to 25 meme images in one batch. If you do not fill out any details, CommunityHub uses each filename as the meme title so nothing slows you down. Category, tags, notes and source information are optional and can be added later.

The Vault updates in place after the upload, so you do not need to refresh the page to see newly added memes.

Take me there
Profile & Identity How do I make or remix a meme? Open MEME Vault and tap Create Meme. Meme Studio lets you turn an image, screenshot or blank canvas into a meme, then saves the finished result directly into your private Vault.

To create: open MEME Vault → Create Meme, choose an image or paste a screenshot, then add Top Text, Bottom Text or another text layer. Tap a text layer to change its wording, font, size, color, outline and alignment. Drag the text directly on the meme to place it where the joke reads best.

To remix: choose Remix on a Vault meme. The original stays safe; saving creates a new Vault item. Memes originally made in Meme Studio show Edit in Studio and reopen their editable text layout.

Creative layers: use Image / Sticker to place another picture on top of the meme. Tap that layer to resize it, fade it, rotate it, duplicate it, or move it forward/backward. Quick Layouts give you editable Classic, Reaction, Quote and Clean Caption starting points. Background controls can Fill, Fit or Stretch the source image and adjust its focal point without changing the original file.

Create with your Vault: tap From Vault inside Meme Studio to search your private collection. Any meme you already own can become the new background or a movable image layer without downloading it and uploading it again. Only the item you choose enters the editable project; the rest of the Vault stays private.

Saved Layouts: once your caption positions and styling feel right, give the arrangement a name and choose Save Layout. Saved Layouts keep the reusable text rhythm and styling but deliberately leave out the background and sticker images, so the same layout can work on a completely different joke. They are stored with your account so they can follow you across devices.

Smart Tools: Meme Studio includes on-device helpers for Smart Polish, Fit Text, Auto Contrast, Smart Place and Check Meme. They help captions fit, stay away from bad edges, remain readable over the image, and avoid heavy overlaps. They run in your browser and do not send the meme to a remote AI service.

Caption Lab: when you need a creative spark, give Caption Lab the situation and choose a tone. Local Idea Sparks stay entirely in your browser, rank the strongest concise options first, and can suggest editable one-liners or top/bottom caption pairs without sending the meme anywhere. Ideas never apply themselves; you choose what to use and can rewrite or Undo it.

Smart Details: when the joke is ready, choose Suggest Title + Tags. Studio uses the text already in the meme to suggest searchable titles and tags locally. Nothing is filled in until you choose it. Better labels make your favorite reactions much easier to find in the Vault later.

Canvas + framing: choose Square, Portrait, Story or Landscape when you know where the meme is going. Image layers can be reframed with crop zoom/focus and optional rounded or circle masks without modifying the source file. While you drag a layer, alignment guides can snap it to the center or safe edges so the composition feels deliberate without pixel-by-pixel nudging.

Full Screen + readable tools: use Full Screen when you want more room for the canvas and the tool column. Supporting buttons use calmer contrast so primary actions stand out instead of every control competing in bright blue.

Tool tabs: the right-side tools are grouped into Edit, Layers, Smart, Project and Save. Why? You should be able to jump directly to the job you are doing instead of scrolling past every Studio card—especially on a phone. Adding text or an image layer opens Layers automatically, and From Vault opens Project.

Direct resizing + effects: select a text layer and drag any corner handle to resize it directly; the size controls still remain available for precise adjustments. Backgrounds and image layers can use local brightness, contrast, saturation and blur controls, while text can use editable shadow effects. You can also use a solid canvas color with no source image.

Draft Recovery: while you work, Meme Studio keeps an unfinished recovery draft on the current device. This is not a Vault item and is not a public post. Active work also protects itself from accidental outside clicks: clicking the backdrop does not close a project with work in it, and using X forces the recovery draft to finish saving before Studio closes.

Pre-save check: Save to Vault still checks for common edge/readability concerns, but these are advisory creative notes rather than blockers. Intentional edge placement or other style choices do not require a second Save Anyway step.

AI boundary: Meme Studio does not use a remote AI provider. If CommunityHub gets its own approved first-party model in the future, that can be designed as a separate, explicit phase rather than quietly sending creative work to an outside service.

Why it works this way: MEME Vault is both your stash and your creative history. Keeping the finished image plus a small editable recipe lets you make a new version later without replacing the meme you already liked.

What makes it fun: you can make the reaction you need while the conversation is happening, keep it searchable with the rest of your collection, then reuse or share it when the perfect moment comes back around.

Your Vault stays private by default. Saving in Meme Studio does not automatically post or publicly share anything.

Community How do I use a saved meme in a Community post? Open the Community composer and tap MEME Vault. Search your private collection, choose one or more saved memes, then use them as normal post images.

What to do: while writing a Community or Group post, tap MEME Vault. A centered picker opens over the page so you can search or browse your latest memes without scrolling away from the composer. Select the reactions you want, then choose Use selected. You can combine Vault memes with normal photo attachments up to the post image limit.

Why it works this way: CommunityHub reuses the image already stored behind your private Vault item instead of making you download it to your phone and upload it again. The server re-checks that every selected meme belongs to your account before the post is created.

What stays private: opening the picker does not publish your Vault, expose its search results to other members, or create a public share link. Only the individual memes you deliberately attach become part of the post you are publishing.

What makes it useful and fun: your favorite reaction memes become a reusable social toolbox. When the perfect moment appears in a conversation, the meme you saved earlier is only a couple taps away instead of buried in a camera roll.
