Hooligan
My Cadi has been shaking since the 4th, I first noticed it after school on Wednesday. I had filled up my tank about half way at a new gas station that i had never been to before (i always use 91 or 93). It feels a bit shaky when it first starts up but is the worst when idling at a stop sign or after pulling into a parking spot. If is runs for a few minutes or goes a mile or so it starts to smell like something is burning, but the smell seems to come from the back of the vehicle rather than the engine bay.... I will be taking it in asap but just wondered if any hooligans might know what issue im looking at. The check engine light did turn on after a while.

Sounds like bad gas to me. You can get a treatment at the gas station to evaporate the water in the gas. I would try that. I think you have to drive around for a bit after adding the treatment.

Also, go back to that gas station and let the manager know your car started acting up after getting gas there. They may have a tank leak letting water in.
