So… towed off my Jeep for repairs yesterday. Was supposed to go to a specific shop. They dropped her at a dealership across the street from said shop. Didn’t know until dealrship called me today. Said… fine… just do the job. She’s up on the hoist already. They replaced all rotors and break pads and said it was good I had her towed when I did.👌🏼 this close to not having any breaks 🤦🏼♀️ Picked her up today and parked next to her was this …. Uhhhh safety? 😆

If you guys would move to Texas I could fix that in no time.

I feel ya - I have dropped about $800 in parts and getting ready to do a lot of work on the car. Brakes are part of it - along with a bunch of other stuff... if I\'d have to have it done, it would be $3-4k .

Im glad u got your jeep fixed.....its always more expensive to get work done at dealership

@asrussell96 I called son in laws shop and Jay, super nice guy, said that was a fair price. My discount atSIL shop would be on the parts, he doesn’t up charge family. Ultimately, dealership saved me from having to rent a car, which would’ve been $50/day. Probably a wash in money spent.

In case you’re wondering… $938 for the work.

@Zero I always cringe when the truck is down and I don\'t know how to do it myself.

@Danimal I thought the same thing. I won\'t tell her that all the parts the replaced cost less than $200.00 and about a 3 hour job.
