Line item veto by the President

I remember Clinton doing this. But the convoluted Justice system has determined “it’s not ok for a President to do this”, overrule passed legislation. Ummm… the President runs this country, any legislation passed by Congress should require extra scrutiny and if the President doesn’t want to approve the spending of taxpayer monies… I think it should be ok to say … hey, wait a minute… VETO, let’s investigate more. Thank you @captain-seamus for sending the link. I think line item veto, with more justification, should be a thing. The President is the President after all.
