@CadillacsandFreedom Not at all. Its a sweet bun, dyed red and coated in a rice flour bread, dyed black. When it cooks, the outer rice flour cracker coating splits, showing the red underneath.Supposed to resemble lava rocks.Despite what they look like, they are very soft. Even the outer layer has a texture like normal loaf bread crust.
