Can the new kart race on dry dirt or does the dirt have to be mud like in motocross? Or can the kart race in both dry dirt and mud?

Most of the tracks are clay or clay and dirt mixed that gets packed down into a hard surface. They wouldn’t move in mud. When a packed track gets water on it they turn into an ice skating rink. Kinda like getting your hands wet while doing pottery.
