Hz is the maximum number of frames your Monitor/TV can display. 60Hz = 60 FPS seen120Hz = 120 FPS seenMost affordable TVs are at 60Hz refresh rate natively.Motion rate should not be mistaken for native refresh rate. Many TVs will say they can hit 120hz motion rate, but they actually have a native refresh rate of 60Hz, which means you still only get 60 FPS seen.Just wanted to share this as it affects gaming quite a bit in my opinion.
