Got the Vive Pro2 VR system for Christmas.Man I thought VR would be neat, but I had no idea how badass it is.It isn\'t just games, but the \"Home\" screen is your domicile you customize and can walk around in. You play games and the achievements for some of the games are deco items. You can play your desktop IN the Virtual world. Then hop directly into a game.I\'m just blown away at the immersion. Just started a playthrough of Fallout4 in VR.... omg... So in true, \'ME\' fashion... I put Hooligan stuff in my house, so now Jeffmac has a small presence in Virtual Reality and some of the art I did is available on SteamVR as deco.Gonna be tough to rejoin the physical reality after this weekend. LOLForgive the Screen Shots... the VR plays at 8k but the screenies are only 1k.. in the headset it looks photorealistic, but that doesnt translate to the screenshots.

Wellā¦ now that we have a new computer, Iāll have to get a set for us. Hubby used VR in the hospital during his recovery to help with balance, and he loved it! Is this the brand you would recommend?

@Zero Yes. Don\'t get the Oculus. It\'s tied to Meta and you have to have a Facebook account to use it.The vive is more pricey than some of the other options but it\'s more stable and the folks at Valve actually care about their customers. (despite what some people say) They take feedback and try to implement what they can.

Cooool!!!!! Does this connect to a computer or something? I bet my hubby would like it. Heād be fishing or golfing all the time. 🤣

Yes, it connects to the computer. It\'s the full headset with motion tracking and a thing they call \"Chaperone\" which gives you boundaries in the headset so you dont run into things.It\'s freakin wild how you can forget you are wearing it because you are so immersed in the environment.
